WTM London, a leading worldwide event for tourism, has changed its design and changed the name of its co-located travel and hospitality technology trade show.
The show was previously known as Travel Forward. It will be renamed WTM Travel Tech and offer more amenities for exhibitors and guests attending WTM London 2022, the travel trade event scheduled to be held in London between the 7-9th of November.
Show organizers plan to build two theatres within the WTM Travel Tech zone. One will show off new products, while the other will host debates, seminars, and other presentations.
The product showcase theater offers exhibitors more ways to showcase their latest services and products to potential customers.
WTM Travel Tech will also have a revised branding strategy to reflect how it has developed from Travel Forward and a distinct section within WTM London’s website. WTM London website.
The changes have come about in response to results of in-depth research between exhibitors, buyers, and guests. The survey was conducted after respondents had been to WTM London 2021 and Travel Forward the event, which was held in a hybrid format. The event featured live shows from 1-3 November and an online exhibition from 8-9 November in 2021.
The poll revealed strong support for Travel Forward to be closely connected to WTM London
“Our post-show research revealed that our travel tech offerings will benefit from a close connection to the primary WTM London show and additional content to demonstrate how technology for hospitality and travel is an essential component of the larger tourism industry.” WTM Portfolio Director Vasyl Zhygalo stated.
“The upgraded WTM Travel Tech will offer the chance for experts in the rapidly-changing technology industry to meet in person and present their products and services to a worldwide public,” he added.
